Discover Our CommunityHawaii Church of Perfect Liberty is a 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit organization located in the Kahala neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii. We are a congregation of the Perfect Liberty (PL) faith — a Japanese new religious movement founded on the principle that "Life is Art." Our church has served the spiritual needs of Hawaii's community for decades, offering a welcoming sanctuary for worship, reflection, and personal growth.
Perfect Liberty (PL Kyodan) teaches that every person is a unique expression of the divine, and that living authentically and creatively is the highest form of spiritual practice. The central teaching — "Life is Art" — invites each member to express their true self in every aspect of daily life, finding joy, peace, and meaning through sincere self-expression and harmonious relationships with others and with God.
Our Honolulu congregation brings together members from diverse backgrounds united by a shared commitment to spiritual growth, compassionate service, and the cultivation of peace in daily life. We welcome all who seek a deeper understanding of themselves and a supportive spiritual community in which to grow.
